Sorry for the lack of post yesterday, I had to leave to take care of a family situation. 







Homework:

Grade 7
* "Boy in Striped PJ's" Chapter 8-10 questions due Wednesday
* Alpha-Biography due Oct. 26th
* Religion: Apostle's Creed assignment. Over the next 5 weeks we will be looking in depth at one of the core prayers of our faith and creating a reflection booklet. It is to be done entirely in class, so please make sure your Religion is in school. Due Wed. Nov.9 th


Grade 8
* "The Giver" Chapters 10-11 questions due Wednesday. I have been having issues with some of the grade 8's submitting their work for this novel. I will be collecting, and marking the questions AS IS on Wednesday. I strongly encourage the students to use the allotted time of 40 minutes three times a week and any free time they have in class to actually read the book and complete the question sheets.
* Magazine due November 2nd. Was assigned today and plenty of class time will be given to complete it, however, the good copy will require time at home to complete.
* Religion: Saint Project. Over the next 5 weeks, we will be looking in detail at the life of a Saint that is of the student's choosing and creating a poster to visually display the information. This project, which may be typed at home, is expected to be researched and assembled here at school so that I can conference with the students about their findings. DUE DATE: Wed. Nov. 9th
