We survived our first month of school :)
Zine's and weekly writing for September was passed back today for you to look over on the weekend, everyone did a great job!

Homework:

Grade 7
* "Boy in Striped PJ's" Chapter 8-10 questions due Wednesday
* Alpha-Biography due Oct. 26th
* MATH QUIZ on Monday:  place value and factors and multiples

Grade 8
* "The Giver" Chapters 10-11 questions due Wednesday. I have been having issues with some of the grade 8's submitting their work for this novel. I will be collecting, and marking the questions AS IS on Wednesday. I strongly encourage the students to use the allotted time of 40 minutes three times a week and any free time they have in class to actually read the book and complete the question sheets.
* Magazine due November 2nd. Was assigned today and plenty of class time will be given to complete it, however, the good copy will require time at home to complete.
