Another day with the buses cancelled. Today we had some fun in gym class and we were assigned a speech in Language. Students have to give a 3-5 minute speech on a possible career choice that they are considering. A rubric and outline was passed out that explains what needs to be included in the speech. The other grade 7 classes did receive the same assignment, but please note that their assignments includes the creation and presentation of a poster. There is no poster component to our assignment.

AND GREAT NEWS!!!! Our class has decided on a "lazy day" theme for our raffle basket. We are looking for items that can help pass a lazy day...cozy socks, popcorn, word searches, board games, art supplies,  etc. To encourage the class to help out a homework pass is being given to all those who donate.
