Wow, having 16 students is a dream. EVERYTHING we did today, with the exception of Math, has been marked and passed back. Please look over it :)

For those of you who did not finish the math sheet on number patterns, please work on this tonight.

Today in language we started looking at the different types of conflict that characters face. We are going to continue working on conflict in class. We also started the culminating activity for the novel, "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". We need to write a one page summary of the novel (be sure to include the main characters, the setting and the plot, along with how the conflict was resolved) AND we are creating a movie poster for the novel to allow our creative sides to come through. Some student have asked for a different culminating activity and those who have asked, were given other options to chose from. I really like how some students took the initiative to show their learning/understanding in other ways :)

There is a mass in the school gym tomorrow. Start time is around 9:30 for those who would like to join us.
