Today in math we started pre-algebra. We looked at how to write an algebraic expression. There is definitely more work to come in this area. Remind your children that although algebra may seem daunting, it is part of our daily lives...how many times do you plan a party or a gathering and you need to work out the total cost for party favours and food; what do you do? You multiply the possible number of guest by the unit cost and compare!
