Today we started a new unit in math, telling time. The expectation in grade five is to ficus on elapsed time. You can help at home by asking your child questions such as: If you start shoveling the driveway for me now and it takes you 35 minutes, at what time will you be done. Of course, you do need to make them shovel the driveway to test out the response ;)

We also had our last traveling stage workshop today, flash mob. It was great! Everyone really got into it :)
