Welcome back! I find it hard to believe that it is September already! As much as I'm going to miss the summer, I am looking forward to getting back to routine. I hope you all had a restful summer holiday and I look forward to getting to know you over the course of the school year.

I use this site to keep you informed about what is happening in the classroom so I encourage you to check it daily. Although I do post homework on this site, it is not meant to replace the school agenda, but rather to help you, help your child to take responsibility for themselves and their school work.

If you have any questions or concerns as the school year progress, please don't hesitate to contact me. The best method is to write a note in the agenda with a phone number where I can contact you at.

Today in class we started our, "All About Me" posters. The children are encouraged to add as much colour as they can to the posters and to find a picture of themselves at home that you don't mind them gluing to the poster. Once complete, this poster will be placed on display in the classroom.
