Weekly writing is due on Friday, the girls are submitting a good copy ( on a loose piece of paper...may or may not be typed); boys are presenting their work to the class.

Information forms were sent home today, they need to be verified by you, signed and returned .

Please finish chapter 1 questions for the class read aloud, "this can't be happening " tomorrow we are going to share answers in class.

Spelling was also assigned today. You can expect spelling to come home on most Tuesdays. It will be collected on the following Tuesday and a quick test will be given to check for understanding of the words. The spelling sheets themselves are going to used to gather marks for the learning skills part of the report card ( is your child able to manage time to complete a standing assignment, can he or she manage their supplies and work, and complete homework in a timely fashion, etc.)
