This past month we have been reading books in class. These are called our literature circles. Each student was placed in a group and are reading a book of their choosing. We have been reading the book together and filling out literature circles sheets everyday for the last month, for a minmum of 40 minutes a day. The final date for this activity is on Friday. None of the books assigned are above a grade 5 reading level, so there should be issues with the comprehension of the text. Ask your child to tell you about their book, since they are at the end of reading it :)

Racing against drugs, permission form is due tomorrow.

Speeches are due on Monday! Length should be between 2-4 minutes.
