Language:

1) Chapter 8 of "Bridge to Terabithia" needs to be done for tomorrow. I would like to thank Gabriel, Sam, Tony, Derek, Naomi, Alyssa and Kian for passing it in already. I would like to remind everyone that there was a typo on the page title, and although the sheet states it is chapter 8, it is really for chapter 9.

I would also like to strongly encourage everyone to make sure that you completely answer the question asked in complete sentences with support. Lately I have been getting sentence fragments and sometimes even 1 word answers.

2) Weekly writing is due on Friday

3) We received a story planner for a mystery story today. The rough copy is due on Monday, February 9th

Math:

1) Today we started dividing a two digit number by a three digit number. Some may have to finish the worksheet for homework. Even numbered questions only! Students struggled with this concept, so please have patience and if it is overwhelming please put it away, tomorrow is another day.

2) There will be a math test next week on Wednesday, February 11th. The test will look at multiplying ( 2 digits by digits) , dividing ( 2 digit by 3 digit) and elapsed time.

Social Studies:

The students were assigned a research project. They need to pick an explorer for the list provided and complete the research package on their chosen explorer. Class time will given to work on this assignment class. We will be using the school iPads, visiting the school library so there is no need to bring in your own devices from home. This project is due on February 27th.
