Hello,

I’m Mrs. Asselin, and I have the pleasure of being your child’s 5^th grade teacher this upcoming year. It’s hard to believe that the summer is quickly coming to an end and before you know it we will be back to the old routine!Many parents like to buy school supplies for their children at the start of the school year.If you choose to, the following is a list that may be considered.   

Suggested Supplies:

•  A basic calculator

• Pens ( preferably blue or black )

• Pencils

• Pencil sharpener

• Erasers

• Glue

• Pencil crayons

• Fine tip markers for outlining and labelling

• Ruler

• Sneakers with a non-marking sole (please respect the fact that you are asked to get sneakers that you can run in as opposed to other forms of footwear such as Uggs, or slippers, which although look nice and are very comfy, fail to offer the protection and durability needed for everyday use inside the school and the rigorous demands of our physical education classes).

• Finally, I would ask that if you are able, would you mind sending in a box or two of Kleenex as we tend to go through these items very quickly throughout the school year.
