I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day :)

Today a note was sent home outlining our school's track and field competition. The Grade 3's, 5's and 7's will walk to St. Mary's on Friday for our track activities. Please dress appropriately and make sure that you have lots of water and snacks in your backpack as we will be outside all day, even if it is raining slightly.

Summer school notes are currently being printed as well. Summer school is being offered for grade 7 and 8 in the areas of Language, Math, and a combined Language/Math. Summer school may be recommended of your child is achieving a 65% or lower in these subject areas; but sometimes parents may feel that attending summer school will help strengthen the child's understanding of the concepts presented in the Intermediate division. If you would like your child to recieve an invitation to attend summer school, please let me know by calling me at 905-839-0005 (#4028) or writing me a quick note. Our summer school program is running the first two weeks of July and the location is at Arch. Denis O'Connor in Ajax. Busing is provided for all students attending summer school classes.

For homework tonight, please work on your choose your own adventure story. By now you should be done with the planning stage and you should be starting the rough draft of your writing.
