Math: Please finish the worksheets on subtracting fractions. There will be a test on Friday on adding and subtraction fractions.

Language: You need to be reading and writing the chapter summaries for your literature circle book. Remember to focus on the main character ( what do they look like, how do they act? what struggle to they face in the story? How do they overcome this struggle? WITH EVIDENCE from the book to support your statements!!!!) IT IS EXPECTED THAT YOUR BOOKS WILL BE COMPLETELY READ BY VALENTINE'S DAY. Which would have given you a month and a half to read the book that you chose!!!

Drama: Mrs. Nardi would like to remind you that you need to have your monologue complete by this Friday

Today in class we read and discussed the poem, "the Lost Generation" as a lead into our discussion circle. The behaviour in the classroom is starting to take a turn for the worse (name-calling, teasing, fighting, playing soccer inside the room). Hopefully, since we are officially in the second ( and last ) term of this school year, we can make a fresh start and focus on postitive behaviours and rewards. You can check out "the Lost Generation" poem on youtube. It is a very interesting poem :)
