Sorry for the lack of posts. I was terribly sick at home, but now I am back. First thing is first: THERE IS NO WEEKLY WRITING THIS WEEK! Since I was unable to mark presentations last Friday I have cancelled the new weekly writing topic for this week. Instead on Thursday, we will be presenting the topic from last week.

Today in class we talked about the Denise House, a shelter for women and their children, who are escaping abusive relationships. Denise House is the only house of its kind that serves the Durham region. We are going to be collecting personal hygiene items and hats and mitts. We are not collecting money. A note will be sent home shortly that outlines our endeavor.
