POP QUIZ TOMORROW IN MATH ( EXPONENTS ). Only students who check the site will know about this quiz :)

Today, we looked at our major writing assignment for the first term. We are going to be looking at the characteristics of a magazine over the next upcoming months and slowly, using writing assignments that are to be done in class (ROUGH COPIES) compling it to form our own regular lenght magazines.

TOday we reviewed the rubric and outline and looked briefly at what makes up an editorial. For te rest of the week we are going to be writing our own editorials. The good copy will be due on Monday, September 30th.

As much as I would love to give a final due date for the completed project, I need to monitor the class progress and five a date that is fair. What this means is that the final due date will be confirmed later, but as for now, please use the ballpark due date of DECEMBER 1st.

Since rough copies are due in class, I am hoping that good copies can be done at home. Students have the option of submitting a hard copy of the magazine or simply compiling it into a single word or pdf file and passing me the memory key.
